ELTM Ethical Leadership, Transparency and People Management Skills
About the Programme
Over the years, various approaches about the concept of leadership have been developed. These concepts all revolve around the leader’s capability to influence others, competently.
It is however becoming increasingly apparent that the future of business, and the future of leading change at the workplace practices will be leadership that is more ethical and strives to deliver results in a more holistic way.
Ethical Leadership is able to deliver winning teams, lower turnover, achieve higher productivity and employee loyalty towards the company.
Ethical leadership can provide value to businesses by inspiring employees to be motivated and live up to the company’s values. Experience suggests that ethical leadership leads to greater employee satisfaction and lower turnover rates.
Closely related to ethical leadership, is transparency. Transparency is essential to an ethical climate in an organization and should be evident in communications, practices, policies, meetings, and other interactions.
Through ethical leadership and transparency, people management skills are enhanced. People Management skills are about the skills of motivating people to achieve high standards of performance.
