PDD/Proactive Defensive Driving Course (12th –13th June 2025)
About the Program
Drivers are often required to cover large distances and the chances are they will be driving for far longer than they would in normal everyday life. More time spent on the road may increase the likelihood of aggressive driving behaviours.
Enjoying driving on the road is not enough to be a good driver. They need to become aware of the hazards they may face in their daily drive as well as developing awareness, avoidance, and evasive maneuvers to avoid collisions. They also will need to be able to maintain concentration at all times. Proactive defensive driving course prepares participants to not only react to driving situations, but look to proactively plan, avoid, and handle driving situations before they happen.
This two-day highly interactive course teaches participants proactive driving skills and safe driving expectations and procedures. It is an upgrade of the ‘Defensive Driving and Positive Work Ethics to Improve Productivity’ program and will include vision and written tests.
Participants will become aware of the hazards they may face in their daily drive through classroom, driving instruction, an in-vehicle (road and track) program, and group discussion.
